Five chapter IV members attended the Choir Boy's fallen officers ride. The choirboy's thanked us for our attendance.

Web Master Bill Watterson reported the web site is coming along very well. He said that for us to get exposure when some one is looking on the web for "Blue Knights" our chapter would not be listed. He said we might want to consider subscribing to a search engine on a yearly basis to enable this to happen.

After discussion it was approved that we issue a check to Bill in the amount of $79.00 to get this started.

Bill then discussed the user I.D. and password section for the member's only section. After discussion it was propose and accepted that we reset the password each year in the month of January. For The remainder of the year The User I.D. is BLUE KNIGHTS and the password is BKIV (ALL CAPS).

Murray Robitaille gave a report on t-shirts and said he a very few short sleeve shirts left. He said more members are looking for long sleeve shirts and suggested we order eighteen gray long and eighteen black long sleeve shirts. The cost of the shirts would be 13.50 each. We would continue to sell them for 15.00 each.

After discussion an expenditure of 500.00 was authorized for the purchase of the shirts.

Nick Scurti recommended we consider a 50/50 drawing at each meeting to allow adding an amount of money to the checking account to provide for misc. expenses as they come up and share 50% with the winner.

After discussion everyone thought it was a good idea. Chris Woodin asked Nick to report back at the next meeting as to the cost of a role of tickets.

Rich Widmeier talked about a ride he took with another club he is a member of. He said everyone carried phone numbers of members with them and said it came in very handy when a member broke down and was able to communicate to the group he was fine and so was his bike. It would also be good to have cell numbers if a rider became lost and wanted to call and rejoin the group.

After discussion all present thought it was a good idea. Rich offered to do the list in small type and laminate it; each member would be given a list to carry.

SEVERAL MEMBERS DID NOT REPORT THEIR CELL NUMBERS SO I HAVE ATTACHED AN UPDATED COPY OF THE ROSTER. IF YOUR CELL NUMBER IS NOT LISTED AND YOU WANT IT LISTED PLEASE E-MAIL ME BY 10/3/04. I WILL UPDATE THE ROSTER AND SEND TO RICH SO HE CAN COMPLETE THE LAMINATED LIST. ALSO CHECK YOUR HOME NUMBER TO BE SURE IT IS ACCURATE.

Our next business meeting will take place on Saturday, October 30th at 0900 hours. We will again meet at Tom's Farm. Please come early if you would like to have breakfast.
